Stress leads to depression

Stress is an integral part of our lives. Stress is of two kind’s i.e. positive and negative stress. Positive stress is always effective and helps the individual to hard and secure good marks. So, it is beneficial to the individual whereas negative stress on other hand is very harmful and it gradually leads to depression. When a person exerts a lot of strain on his mind the tension arouses on his/her mind. Due to excess stress in the mind of the person he/she losses his/her mental balance. Stress is certainly harmful to the health of the person. It creates an adverse effect on the health of the individual. One who doesn’t has the capacity to deal with the crisis feel more stressed. Stress can be of various types and differs in varied degrees. It can be social stress like daily hassles or minor irritating event which this stress creates tension in the mind of the person which ultimately leads to depression. Sometimes frustration and conflicts also leads to depression in an
individual. When an individual gets frustrated due to a conflict in his/her life then the incidence keeps on reoccurring in the mind of the person and he feels too much stressed up. It disturbs the mental status of the individual and the person falls into depression. Some major traumatic events, recent life events, or hassles at home or office are the major cause for depression in any individual. Live events including developmental traumas, physical illness problems in relationship may leads to depression. Certain conditions or situation may effect whether depression is identified or not. The cause of depression is not known but most likely it is a combination of genetic and environmental factors which are involved in the development of disorder. Many people with symptoms of depression first visit the physician for help. Thus copying with stress is really essential to avoid frustration and tension in the mind of the person. People must become stronger mentally and emotionally. In this way there are less chances of getting into depression or avoiding it completely by adapting to all kinds of stresses.
